ClockWork Brand Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel Ekow Amoako has stated Ghanaian city Kumasi holds a lot of promise in basketball.

He made this statement in an interview with Hood2Hood Basketball in the aftermath of the StreetBall At The Mall Basketball Tournament.

The event took place at the Kumasi City Mall in Ghana’s Ashanti regional capital Kumasi this past weekend with the competition starting on Saturday, October 17 and concluding on Sunday, October 18.

Asawasi Comets topped the tournament thanks to 41-29 win over Asafo Klicks in the final and CEO of the program’s headliner, ClockWork Brand, was effusive in his praise for the competition and the city.

“It’s been amazing…Kumasi is a city that is very promising when it comes to Basketball we just need opportunities and a platform to showcase our talent. If we are able to get so many tournaments going around, so many leagues going around, Kumasi has mad mad talent” Amoako said.

Eight teams competed in this year’s tournament including GSP League Champions Young Boys from Sunyani.
