Budding Ghanaian basketball prospect Joel Mensah has went through an intense training session as the Center continues to prepare for the upcoming season.
The 2020-2021 US Men’s College Basketball season commences on January 2 for James Madison University with a game against Towson University.
Mensah heads into his debut season for James Madison after transferring to the University this offseason after spending two seasons at San Diego State University.
The 21 year old defender went through a gym session where he was captured dead lifting weights before working on post moves on the court. He was also seen hitting three point attempts from the corner section of the three point arc.
After having a hard time getting minutes at San Diego State, Mensah is expected to have extensive minutes at James Madison as the starting Center.
Mensah is the tallest player on the roster standing at 6 foot 10 inches; a breakout run in his remaining years in University could land him in the NBA.
