Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian Center Nathan Mensah’s 2020-2021 USA’s Men’s College Basketball season gets underway in December.
The 6 foot 10 inch player is in line to play for San Diego State University on December 29 against University of New Mexico at home. San Diego home games are held at the Viejas Arena.
The 2020-2021 regular season for San Diego is scheduled to end on February 27 with a home game against University of Las Vegas prior to the Mountain West Championship which runs from March 10-13, 2021 in Las Vegas.
After averaging six points and six rebounds in 13 games as a starter, Mensah is widely expected to excel in his third year with the Aztecs.
His impressive start to the 2019-2020 season was cut short by medical complications related to his lungs which forced him to sit out the rest of the campaign.
The season’s start date delay is largely and directly attributed to the corona virus pandemic that has caused over 250,000 deaths in the United States of America.
