Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian-Italian Guard David Cournooh left Vanoli Cremona’s game against Reyer Venezia due to cramp.

The veteran player played 25 minutes in Cremona’s 66-83 loss to Reyer in the Italian Serie A but had to leave due to the condition.

He registered four points, two rebounds and two assists during his time on the court as a starter alongside Giuseppe Poeta in the Cremona backcourt.

However, according to Italian news outlet PianetaBasket, the 6 foot 2 inch player’s condition isn’t serious and has been cleared to train for upcoming assignments. A muscular problem led to Cournooh cramping according to the same source.

The loss to Reyer is Cremona’s second in as many games this season in the Italian League; the team suffered a 77-102 loss to Trieste in the season opener.
