Ghana Small Forward/ Power Forward Ben Bentil is in line to compete for Panathinaikos in the Greek team’s EuroLeague game tonight.
Tonight’s game against fellow Greek side Olympiakos is scheduled to tip off at 18:00 GMT and is the second matchup for both teams in Europe’s most prestigious continental competition.
Bentil made an impressive start to life in the 2020-2021 season by registering 11 points, two rebounds and a steal in 11 minutes off the bench in Panathinaikos 78-76 win over Russian side Khimki away from home.
It is the first of three games in the continental tournament Panathinaikos is set to play in the space of seven days prior to the commencement of the Greek League.
After tonight’s encounter, Panathinaikos plays French side ASVEL on Tuesday, October 13 and Spanish Giant Barcelona on Thursday, October 15. In the Greek League, a matchup against Aris awaits Panathinaikos.
Bentil averaged 3.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 9.1 minutes in 23 games in his first EuroLeague season in the 2019-2020 campaign.
