Basketballghana.com gathers Ghanaian born French International Shooting Guard Yakuba Ouattara is set to be sidelined for a month to injury.
The 28 year old missed Coosur Real Betis game against Valencia this past weekend due to the injury which has been diagnosed as a trabecular fracture of the external tibial plate after colliding in the team’s 80-87 Week 2 loss to Obaradoiro in the Spanish League.
Though Betis scored its first win in the 2020-2021 season thanks to the win over Valencia, the team has to play upcoming games without one of its major signings this offseason.
Ouattara has had a solid start to life in Spain as he is averaging 10.5 points and four rebounds in 21.5 minutes as an undersized Small Forward.
The 6 foot 3 inch player moved from AS Monaco in France after five years to Spain; Ouattara was born in Tepa in Ghana’s Ashanti Region but has gone on to represent France at the senior level on the international scene.
