Dichemso Chiefs Basketball Academy has started preparations for the 2020 StreetBall At The Mall Basketball Tournament set to commence on October 17.

The tournament is slated to conclude on Sunday, October 18 at the Kumasi City Mall in Ghana’s Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.

Chiefs are a constant presence at the competition that has grown in popularity since the first edition was held in 2016; this year’s edition is the fourth in the tournament’s history.

Basketballghana.com got hold of photos from the team’s latest training session held this weekend with the competition start date around the corner.

Several players including Point Guard Emmanuel Opare formerly of Opoku Ware School was present at the session; Opare was a standout player in Opoku Ware’s triumph at the 2016 Sprite Ball Tournament which is Ghana’s biggest High School Basketball competition.

Chiefs will battle to defend the title this year against seven other teams including reigning Kumasi Basketball League champions Ayeduase Snipers, Patasi Invaders and Asafo Klicks.
