Basketballghana.com gathers the annual StreetBall At The Mall Basketball Tournament is due to take place later this month in Kumasi.
The event comes on the back of COVID 19 related restrictions on contact sports getting lifted recently in Ghana. This year’s event is the fourth edition of the annual competition.
The Kumasi City Mall will host the competition in Ghana’s Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi and is in line to be the first high profile competition in the sport to be staged after the ban on contact sports was lifted in the West African nation.
Multiple teams with a large chunk drawn from the Kumasi Basketball League are expected to compete in the tournament including defending league champions .
Defending StreetBall At The Mall Champions Ayeduase Snipers are slated to participate with an eye on a successful title defence in the two day tournament.
Ghana’s leading basketball portal can confirm leading sportswear brand ClockWork is the tournament organizer with ample support coming from the Kumasi City Mall.
