The build up to the commencement of the 2020 Tema Basketball League season is on after the official ban on contact sports in Ghana due to COVID 19 restrictions was lifted a fortnight ago.
A handful of clubs have been busy on the transfer market nabbing players from other teams in the league but defending Champions Nungua Coldstore have had a relatively quiet offseason.
However, fans of the three time League Champions were excited to see the team give a sneak peek of its jersey for the upcoming season.
Designed by ClockWork Brand, only the black shorts design of the kit was unveiled via Twitter; the colours of the team’s logo-teal and yellow-are used to inscribe “Nungua Coldstore” on the side of the shorts with a small patch showing snowflakes just on top of the inscription.
Little over a week after rival Spintex Knights delivered an eye catching team photo shoot session, Coldstore now take their turn in the spotlight. Nungua beat Spintex 2-1 in last season’s finals.
