Ghana Born French International Yakuba Ouattara top scored in his competitive debut game for Real Betis in the Spanish League.
Ouattara played his first competitive game in the team’s Endesa League opener against Joventut Seguros; Betis lost 57-78.
The 6 foot 3 inch Shooting Guard who played as an undersized Small Forward in a three Guard backcourt led all Betis players in points with 10 in the game.
He played 22 minutes as a starter and added six rebounds in the losing effort for his new side; Ouattara was the only Betis player to score in double figures.
Senegal International Youssou Ndoye was one of three players to score eight points for Betis; the Center added four rebounds in 15 minutes. Obradoiro beat Fuenlabrada 101-82 in its opening game and has won two games in as many outings this season.
Betis is scheduled to play Obradoiro today at 15:00 GMT; Ouattara is expected to maintain his position in the team after moving from AS Monaco in the French League this offseason.
