Cremona takes on Trieste at 15:30 GMT while Bologna plays Cantu at 17:00 GMT; games are likely to have limited fans or no fans in attendance due to the corona virus which forced the league’s cancellation late last season.

Cournooh and Abass are in line to make their competitive debuts tonight after joining the teams this offseason. Cournooh joined Cremona from Virtus Bologna and Abass joined Bologna from Germani Brescia.

Abass is set to face one of his former teams in Cantu where he made his league debut five seasons before joining Olimpia Milano.

Both players were born to Ghanaian parents and have gone on to represent Italy at the senior level internationally with Cournooh playing at the Mediterranean Games in 2006 and Abass representing Italy at the 2019 World Cup.
