Yakuba Outtara is in line to play in his debut game in the Spanish Premier Basketball League tonight as Coosur Real Betis plays Joventut.
The game tips off at 17:15 GMT in what is Real Betis first game of the season; all teams have played a game this season with Joventut recording an 81-73 win over Unicaja Malaga.
The Ghana Born French player moved to the Spanish side this offseason after playing for French side AS Monaco for five seasons that featured a brief brush up with the NBA.
He played for Long Island Nets in the NBA Gatorade League; Long Island is NBA side Brooklyn Nets’ affiliate team in the Gatorade League.
He left the French League as a two time All Star and two time Leaders Cup Champion where played the Shooting Guard position who averaged 11 points and four rebounds last season.
Ouattara has been named to Betis’s starting lineup as an undersized Small Forward alongside two Guards. He was in the running to play for France at the 2019 Basketball World Cup.
