The NBA-FIBA Africa competition was originally scheduled to commence in March this year but the outbreak of the corona virus pandemic forced leaders to suspend the competition.

Australian Mills last coaching stop was at Rwandan side Patriots where she helped the team book a spot in the BAL; she is in line to face her former team in the tournament.

Morocco’s AS Sale (Red) and Nigeria’s Rivers Hoopers have qualified to compete in the BAL.

The veteran trainer recently spoke at SEED Foundation: Ghana’s Virtual Basketball Camp where she touched on issues related to women’s participation in sports and basketball development on the African continent.

AS Sale won the African Club Championship in 2017 and aims to excel in the revamped tournament that has the NBA as a partner and is primed for a big take off.
