Bentil is preparing for the 2020-2021 season after making history in the immediate past campaign as winner of the Greek League albeit without seeing the latter part of the season.

This was due to the corona virus pandemic that forced league games to be suspended and later cancelled; Panathinaikos were declared Champions by the league.

After impressing at fellow Greek side Peristeri, Bentil signed a two year deal with Panathinaikos and played out his first year largely off the bench while averaging 3.1 points and two rebounds in nine minutes across 23 EuroLeague games.
