Cournooh in action for Bologna

Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian-Italian Basketball Player David Cournooh will wear Jersey Number 25 for Vanoli Cremona in the 2020-2021 season.

Jersey Numbers for players were unveiled recently and the veteran Guard’s number hadn’t changed from the one he wore at former club Virtus Bologna.

Cournooh moved from Bologna to Cremona this offseason after spending two years at the former club where he played most of the time off the bench.

His contract with Cremona runs through to the end of the upcoming season; Vanoli finished last season in sixth place but the campaign was shortened due to the corona virus pandemic.

Fellow newcomer Jarvis Williams will wear Jersey Number 6 with Shooting Guard TJ Williams set to wear the Jersey Number 3 for the next campaign.

Cournooh has represented Italy’s National Team at various levels but has Ghanaian ancestry; he was teammates with fellow Ghanaian-Italian player Awudu Abass at Bologna before his move away from the club.
