Basketballghana.com can confirm basketball is to be a main highlight in the upcoming “You Think You Know Sports” Quiz Show.
The quiz is slated to commence in September and contestants would be tasked to answer questions correctly on football and basketball.
This is the first time a sports quiz show in Ghana is highlighting basketball through its line of questions; most shows focus on football.
Questions on the international scene especially those related to the NBA and on the local scene are to be asked in the month long quiz program.
On the local bit, issues related to Rite Sports Limited events including the Ghana Basketball Awards, UPAC Basketball Championship and Sprite Ball Championship would be brought up.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions in place in the country, the quiz is to be conducted online via Instagram; prospective contestants get the chance to register via the same medium.
Contestants stand the chance to win 1000 Ghana Cedis; up to 16 individuals will compete in the quiz show.
