Basketballghana.com can confirm a stakeholders meeting of the Tema Basketball League (TBL) is to be held at the end of the month.
The meeting will take place on Saturday, August 29 at the Tema Community 4 Basketball Court popularly known as the Chinese Court with stakeholders expected to attend. The meeting starts at 10:30 GMT.
League organizers, Tema Coaches, Captains of registered league Teams for the 2020 season and referees are among groups expected to be in attendance.
According to League Coordinator Sandy Asiedu, the meeting has been arranged to “mainly discuss the way forward, share ideas and diverse opinions on how and what we can all do to improve our league holistically.”
He added, “I think collectively we can feed off great ideas from each other to make sure our league gets better in all departments as we grow.”
The Tema Basketball League 2020 season was set to commence in April but the outbreak of the corona virus forced league leaders to suspend the commencement date.
