Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghanaian Center Joel Mensah is officially the tallest player on James Madison University Men’s Basketball Team roster.
This revelation comes after the height of players was officially listed on the program’s website with preparations commencing recently in the face of the corona virus pandemic.
The team has been through training sessions in recent days ahead of the 2020-2021 US Men’s College Basketball season that was cut short by the pandemic earlier this year.
Mensah is officially listed at 6 foot 10 inches at the Center position and is widely expected to be the starter at the position when the season commences.
The upcoming campaign is his first with the Dukes since transferring from San Diego State University this offseason after a two year run with the Aztecs. After a slow start to life in the College game, Mensah should be able to play up to his potential as an athletic defender with an expanding offense.
Forwards Zach Jacobs and Julien Woods are the next tallest on the roster with both players measured at 6 foot 8 inches.
