Basketballghana.com has received the schedule for limited use of the Tema Community 4 Basketball Court in response to the easing of COVID 19 related restrictions.
The schedule was put together by the Tema Basketball Association to limit the number of people who use the court and the number of days to use the court popularly known as the Chinese Court.
This is in line with safety protocols that must be adhered to after restrictions were eased in late July as Ghana continues make progress in its fight against the corona virus pandemic.
The court is open to active players who aren’t in the youth categories twice a week for two each day and on Saturdays. Veteran players are scheduled for the weekend slot with the same duration.
Despite easing restrictions, a ban on contact sports within competitive settings is still in force in the country; the Association’s move is to help players prepare for the Tema Basketball League likely to commence in the final quarter of the year when the ban is on track to end.
