Basketballghana.com can confirm the list of basketball beneficiaries for the COVID 19 Financial Package and female basketball players have been included in the list.

Ghana’s poppular hoops portal can report 16 names were submitted to the vetting committee as prospective beneficiaries of the fund.

The MoU was signed on Thursday, July 9 at the YEA Headquarters in Accra.

The list has male and female athletes meaning should the enlisted athletes meet the criteria of the committee, they would benefit from the fund.

The fund was set up to ease the financial hit on athletes in the West African country due to the outbreak of the corona virus that has infected over 20,000 people in the country.
