At his official unveiling as the latest signing by Spanish Basketball side Coosur Real Betis, Ghana born French International Shooting Guard Yakuba Ouattara has stated the club’s desire to sign him was a major reason he joined the club.
The 28 year old joined Betis from French side AS Monaco where he spent five seasons with the French Pro A team. He had a brief stint in the NBA on the books of the Brooklyn Nets.
Ouattara is signed to Betis on a two year deal that is set to expire in 2022 and Betis hopes to improve within this period in the Spanish Endesa.
“Happiness. I am quite well, I am very happy to join the Coosur Real Betis team. I have decided on the project and the challenge, they made me feel loved here” he said and added “My goals this season are to bring success to the team, I hope we have a great season”.
Ouattara has represented France on the international at various stages in his career including the Under 20 level.
