Basketballghana.com can confirm the official logo of the Tema Basketball League (TBL) Junior League has been unveiled after plans to start the league this year have been set in motion.
TBL Organizing Secretary Prince Owusu Anning stated the league’s intention to start the Juniour League during the 2020 season in an interview with Hood2Hood Basketball a week ago.
Competitions for young budding players have been organized by League Organizers over the past years since the TBL’s inception in 2015.
However, such competitions lasted for a couple of days and to ensure young players get ample time to showcase their skills, the league concept was introduced.
It should also serve as a feeder competition to the main league where standout players are roped into the TBL to compete for participating teams.
The logo bares striking resemblance to the TBL logo with the shortened form of Juniour (JR.) as the only difference. The TBL was established in 2015 with record title winners Nungua Coldstore winning the maiden edition.
