Ghana born Shooting Guard Yakuba Ouattara has penned a heartfelt message to AS Monaco Basketball Club in the aftermath of his exit from the club.
Ouattara left Monaco for Coosur Real Betis in Spain’s top Basketball League-the ACB Endesa- recently after the Spanish side long courted his services.
He signed a two year deal with the contract set to expire in 2022; the 28 year old player averaged 11 points and 4.4 rebounds in his final season with Monaco and also played in 16 games in the EuroCup.
After spending five years at Monaco, Ouattara bid farewell to the club with a message that reads:
“5 years ago, I arrived on the Rock…It was 5 beautiful years filled with emotions, I met many beautiful people. I would like to thank the club, the entire staff, the supporters and the entire public of Monaco for your confidence and support. I will never forget you. You are in my Heart. #It’s only a goodbye he wrote on Twitter.
Ouattara represents France internationally.
