Tema Basketball League Organizing Secretary Prince Owusu Anning promised changes from the league’s perspective and following a series of activities, the league has delivered on the promises.

In an interview with Hood2Hood Basketball, over the weekend, Anning pointed out the league will undergo some changes prior to the start of the 2020 Season.

“We are thinking of rebranding the league. From Logo rebranding, to changing the name of our social media handles, we have a social media team who are working around the clock to make sure this happens. Very soon you are going to see an official presser where we are going to inform the whole basketball community of what our intentions are and then we will unveil the logo” he said.

The logo was unveiled and the associated presser was released on Monday, July 13 with the presser containing details on the league’s direction and breakdown of the new logo’s representation.

The Tema League is heading to its fifth season after playing out its maiden edition in 2015.
