Basketballghana.com can confirm ex Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I standout Romeo Enan’s former team Dalia Sportive Grombalia will compete in the Tunisian Basketball Championship Cup.
Dalia will play against ES Rades on July 15 in the semifinal for a place in the final of the Championship; US Monastir has been drawn to play against JS Kairouan on the same date.
Enan played for Dalia Sportive for one season after impressing in the Nigerian Basketball League for Kwara Falcons and Kano Pillars.
The Ivorian international lit up the ABL with Braves of Customs with dominant defensive performances en route to winning multiple titles.
He bagged titles with Accra Technical University and was named Tertiary Player of the Year at the Ghana Basketball Awards. Since leaving Dalia, Enan has suited up for Aviation Club in Egypt.
The games are to be played behind closed doors with 21 persons per team allowed at the venue; only substitute players and coaching staff will sit on the bench.
Medical staff and administrators will sit in the stands.
