Basketballghana.com can confirm Francophone All Stars Basketball Club Captain Kofour Osei is interested in competing in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I.
This interest was communicated during an interview with Ghana’s leading basketball portal regarding plans for the 2020 season which is in flux due to the corona virus pandemic.
He disclosed in the chat Francophone won’t compete in the Tema Community Basketball League’s upcoming season due to varied reasons.
However, he revealed he plans to pursue a player’s role for a team in the ABL which had three rounds of games played prior to an indefinite suspension in the wake of the corona virus.
“I’m hoping to play in the Accra League if only I can find a team” he stated as the wait continues for the league’s restart once a ban on contact sports in Ghana comes to an on July 31.
Braves of Customs are the reigning ABL Men’s Division I Champions. Ghana Police Service are the defending champions in the Women’s Division.
