For the second straight week, fans have been left with nothing in the Tema Community Basketball League offseason trade portal since no activity has taken place.
This comes on the back of a frenzy start with Tema Community 4 Club and Spintex Knights Club sparing for the best players available on the market.
Knights made two player signings including tabbing reigning Most Valuable League Player Joel Tham in from close rival Nungua Coldstore.
Community 4 signed three players in as many days with all three coming from Tema Heat which has reportedly disbanded after concluding the 2019 campaign.
Heat made amends for losing Small Forward Muhaimin “Astro” Guba by signing fellow undersized Small Forward Steven Foster with the two remaining signees manning the Power Forward and Center positions.
However, activities on the market have cooled since with most teams adopting a wait and see approach as the league waits for a ban on contact sports in Ghana due to COVID 19 to expire.
