Tema Community 4 Basketball Club has completed the signing of Center/Power Forward Mu8barak Alhassan Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The trade was completed just days after Community 4 made a move for Mustapha Ahmed; Alhassan and Ahmed played for Tema Heat in the past campaign.
The players manned Heat’s frontcourt starting spots and helped the team make the postseason but exited in the first round.
Alhassan was on Heat’s roster during the 2018 campaign that had the team feature in the finals but missed out on the title after losing to Nungua Coldstore.
The latest trade move is the third for C4 with Tema Heat since the former has also traded for Small Forward Steven Foster.
This also lays credence to reports Tema Heat won’t compete in the 2020 season and the team has been disbanded; Captain Fred Yeboah has distanced himself from competing this year and would rather focus on developing the league further as the lead organizer.
C4’s roster suffered from a pair of exits earlier this month with the likes of Muhaimin “Astro” Guba leaving for Spintex Knights.
