Sakumono Titans Basketball Club Head Coach Kenneth Caesar has encouraged his players to do private workouts in preparation for the upcoming Tema Community Basketball League.
He this in an interview with Basketballghana.com in an exclusive chat recently as the team’s wait for the league’s start. A ban on social gatherings due to the corona virus in Ghana has prevented the 2020 season from commencing.
The virus has infected over 6,000 people in Ghana at the time of writing and the ban was put up as a preventive measure to slow the spread. The ban is expected to be lifted on May 31.
“As you know, it is not safe or legal to meet and train so we have been encouraging the guys-players- to do more personal workouts. We will also be reviewing some of our games and correct the mistakes that we made” he said.
Titans made its debut in the league last season and made it to the postseason but exited in the first round. Caesar won the Tema League title as Head Coach of Nungua Coldstore.
