Former multiple time Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I Champion Romeo Wilfred Enen has stated he is unsure when the Egyptian Basketball League would return.
He revealed this in an interview with Basketballghana.com exclusively from his base in Egypt where he plays for league side Aviation Sports Club.
The 2019-2020 Season has been on hold over the past two months due to the corona virus pandemic that has stopped a host of sports events in the world.
“No idea” Enan stated when asked about the possible return date of the league before adding “We stopped the league since 14 March that was the day we (Aviation) played the last game. We are three games from the end of the league (season)”.
Enan has played for teams in North Africa over the past couple of years; he played for Dalia Sport Grombalia in Tunisia before moving to Egypt.
He has also played in Nigeria and represented Ivory Coast after starring for Braves of Customs and Accra Technical University in Ghana.
