One of such teams is Takoradi Technical University (TTU) Oilers whose strong form in the 2020 season was bound to have the team make deeper runs in multiple competitions.

In the Western Basketball Association League, the Oilers were in the hunt for a title in the inaugural season; the league has been suspended until further notice with two rounds of games to play.

TTU (black) topped Zone 2

The team was in form heading to the national stage of this year’s Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship after qualifying as Zone Two Champions.
