According to news outlets Stadio and Corriere di Bologna, the former Cantu player has interests from Russia and Spanish clubs for the upcoming season.
The 2019-2020 season came to an abrupt end with the Corona Virus pandemic forcing several leagues to cancel their respective campaigns to avoid further spread.
Abass is heavily linked with a move to fellow Serie A side Virtus Bologna after playing out his second season with Germani Brescia.
The 6 foot 6 inch player born to a Ghanaian father in Italy, represented the European nation at the 2019 Basketball World Cup and continued his form in the just ended season.
The 27 year old averaged 14 points, 1.2 steals, 1.3 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 21 games as Brescia ended the season with 14 wins and seven losses in third place. Bologna ranked first with 18 wins and two losses.
The upcoming season is set to have 18 teams; one more than the previous season.
