International Basketball University (IBU) Regional Director Richard Borsah has outlined plans the institution has in play for Basketball Coaches in Ghana.
He made this revelation in a chat with Hood2Hood Basketball following his appointment as Director in Ghana and the West African sub region.
The veteran Forward stated the University’s aim in reaching out to the sub-region that is fast becoming a basketball hub in Africa and the world.
For Ghana, there are a lot of Coaches that are in existence now and we intend to unveil to them some of the new ways of Coaching, the new ways of understanding how the game has grown and how to adapt and be able to meet up with international standards when it comes to Coaching” he said.
IBU is a specialized basketball and sports University located in Lithuania that has extensive plans to develop basketball from the youth level to the pros in the world with emphasis on Lithuania’s model that catapulted the small European nation to a basketball powerhouse.
