Ghanaian youngster Ebenezer Dowuona will reunite with former AAU teammate Ernest Ross at North Carolina State University Basketballghana.com can confirm.

Power Forward Ross was recruited by several universities including Louisiana State University but recently committed to North Carolina to pair with Center Dowuona.

The players were teammates on Game Elite Florida in the AAU before committing to the same university; both players were recruited by Roy Roberson.

Ebenezer is the younger brother of Purdue University Center Emmanuel Dowuona and is part of the 2021 class of recruits. The Dowuona brothers moved from Ghana to the US at age 15.

The brothers form part of a group of exciting prospects in the US Men’s College basketball system likely to make it to the professional level.

San Diego State University’s Nathan Mensah and Joel Mensah, Derrick Quansah of East Carolina University fall in this category.

Ross is ranked as the 38th best player in the 2021 class and is likely to man the frontcourt alongside Ebenezer Dowuona for North Carolina. Ross stands 6 foot 9 inches while Dowuona measures 6 foot 10 inches.
