Veteran Forward Richard Borsah has been appointed as a representative for the International Basketball University (IBU) Basketballghana.com can confirm.
Borsah will represent the prestigious basketball institution in Ghana and the West African sub region with the appointment confirmed on April 20.
His duties include “overseeing basketball coaches education, basketball youth camps and basketball courses for any level of basketball coaches and players” in the country.
This is another chapter in the storied basketball life of Borsah who has been an ever present member of Ghana’s most accomplished club side Braves of Customs for over a decade.
He recently took up a player-coach role for fellow Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I side Tudu Magic. He played for top four side Tema Rockets in the Tema Community Basketball League.
IBU is a public educational institution based in Lithuania that organizes educational degree studies and non-degree programs in basketball and sports industry. IBU aims to grow the game of basketball from youth to the professional level.
Dr. Mindaugas Balciunas is the Director of IBU with several top ranked administrators including General Manager of Turkish club Fenerbache, Maurizio Gheradini as Board Members.
