Accra Basketball League (ABL) Director Alex Kukula has stated it would take contributions from a lot of people and not an individual to make basketball more prominent in Ghana.
He made the statement in a Question and Answer session recently Basketballghana.com was privy to; the session had the ABL Director address a host of questions about the league and the sport’s prospects in the West African nation.
“We all need to put things together to make our game big, it wouldn’t take one person trust me. It has to take all of us players, coaches, administrators and all for us to know where we want to go and how to go there…and I think the game will be far far better” he said.
The ABL 2020 season has been suspended until notice as a preventive measure to the spread of the Corona Virus pandemic. Ghana has 636 confirmed cases of infections at the time of writing.
Ghana Police Service and Braves of Customs are defending ABL Women’s and Men’s Division I Champions respectively.
