Accra Basketball League (ABL) Director Alex Kukula has stated the league is “growing” in his assessment of the competition in a Question and Answer session Basketballghana.com was privy to.
Kukula is part of the Ayitey Bulley administration that has led the league over the past couple of years; the administration is in its third year.
Addressing several issues affecting the league and basketball in Ghana, Kukula gave a positive view about the league despite the present campaign’s fate.
The 2020 season has been suspended until further notice as a preventive measure to the spread of the Corona Virus that has affected 566 persons at the time of writing.
“I think We-present administration- have been growing from year to year. I’ve have seen a lot of development, a lot of interest though we could do better but I see the game growing” he said.
The ABL resumption date is still unclear as the suspension has been extended by two weeks with the announcement coming in this past weekend.
