Ghana Center Amida Brimah is reminiscing his NBA Gatorade League title win with Austin Spurs in 2018 with the shot blocking defender stating so.
Brimah did so on his official Twitter page where he retweeted a photo of the winning team; then teammate Derrick White tweeted the photograph.
On April 10, 2018 Austin Spurs-the Gatorade League affiliate of NBA side San Antonio Spurs, beat Raptors 905 98-76 in Game 2 to sweep the series after bagging a win in Game One.
The title was the team’s second and led to a place in the Basketball Club World Cup that had Austin finish in fourth place at the world competition.
Brimah led all players in the League in Blocks and was voted into the All Defensive Team for his efforts on the defensive end of the court.
Winning the League title adds to Brimah’s national title with University of Connecticut in 2014; Brimah is recovering from an ACL tear that cost him a place with Fort Wayne Mad Ants and a chance to make an NBA roster this season.
