Ghana Guard Alhaji Mohammed has reacted to his induction into former team Limoges’ Hall of Fame induction Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The veteran Guard spent two seasons at the French club’s time in the Pro B after graduating from University of Louisville. He averaged 18 points and 16 points respectively.
Writing on his official Twitter page, the 38 year old player who can play the Shooting Guard position, stated:
“I always wanted to be a living legend and today that became true. I was voted in the Hall of Fame today with Limoges” he wrote.
Mohammed has played extensively on the European continent since turning pro with stints at clubs in Romania, Hungary and Spain.
He was preparing to play out his 16thyear on the African continent for Tunisian giant US Monastir after signing for the club earlier this year.
However, that has been halted since the Basketball Africa League (BAL) has been suspended until further notice due to the spread of the Corona Virus. The BAL is a partnership between the NBA and FIBA Africa.
