Ghana Point Guard Denzel Mensah has stated his ambition to play in Spain’s top tier basketball league-the ACB- in the near future.
He pointed out this ambition in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com where he also talked out about life in Spain during the month long lockdown over the rapid spread of the Corona Virus.
The Virus has claimed over 7000 lives in Spain at the time of writing and forced all sports competitions in the country including the lower tier ECB Mensah competes in for Valencia B.
“I should be moving up to ACB next year” he said as he continues to wait for the suspended league to resume later this year.
Prior to the suspension, Mensah was playing out his debut season in Europe since turning pro after graduating from Penn State Wilkens-Barre.
Despite being born in the United States of America, Mensah is eligible to play for Ghana due to his parents Ghanaian heritage.
In 2019, he held basketball clinics at Achimota School and PRESEC-Legon.
