Basketballghana.com gathers Zone 2 games in the 2020 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship will take place at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Basketball Gym.

The impressive structure held its first competition in 2017 with the Mini GUSA Games taking place at the modern basketball gymnasium in Ghana’s Central Regional capital, Cape Coast.

UCC is the only institution at Ghana’s tertiary education level to have an indoor arena and the eye catching edifice is to serve as the venue for arguably the most difficult zone in the West African nation’s biggest tertiary basketball competition.

Zone 2 has UCC, University of Education-Winneba (UEW), defending Zonal Champions Takoradi Technical University (TTU) and University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) competing.

University of Mines and Technology (Green) v UEW in last year’s Zonal competition.

Competition in the Zone plays out on Saturday, March 14 with the Zonal winner progressing to the national stage of the tournament to be held in Accra from April 16 to 18.

The 2020 UPAC is sponsored by CAL Bank, MTN and Decathlon.
