The opening round of games in the 2020 Accra Basketball League (ABL) season have been released per reports reaching Basketballghana.com
The new season tips off on Wednesday, March 11 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with two games set to open the new campaign.
In the Men’s Division I, Braves of Customs play Adenta Leopards with the game set to tipoff at 19:00 GMT; In the Women’s Division, Braves of Customs play Ghana Police Service.
The matchups are a repeat of the 2019 League Finals Series in both divisions that had Braves and Police emerge winners in the respective divisions.
Ghana Police clinched the Matthias Ocloo Trophy ahead of Braves of Customs for the second time in two seasons despite losing twice to Braves in the regular season.
Braves clinched the Benjamin Baafi Trophy via a 2-1 series win over Adenta Leopards to maintain its dominance in the division. Leopards and Braves have played out exciting games in recent years and their games have become a must watch.
