Events and Sponsorship Manager at CAL Bank, Peter Hall has stated his outfit’s “doors are always open to” be part of the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges Basketball Championship.

He made this statement during the official launch of the 2020 UPAC at the De’lish Restaurant in Ghana’s capital, Accra. The competition tips off on March 7 at the Pope John Senior High School in Koforidua.

CAL Bank has sponsored the UPAC Championship since 2016 and is on board the seventh edition which runs from March to April 18.

Speaking at the event, Hall highlighted CAL Bank’s long term commitment to the Championship and Rite Sports Limited-organizers of the competition.

“Supporting Basketball remains one of our key CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) focus it is actually hinged on our to support inter colleges, communal and lesser known sports so we are always ready our doors are always open for this partnership” Hall stated.

All Nations University College, Koforidua Technical University College, Radford University College and Wisconsin International University College will compete on Saturday in Zone One.

Only the zonal winner progresses to the national competition to be held in Accra from April 16-18; 32 competing teams have been placed in eight zones at the preliminary stage.
