Decathlon Ghana Kawukudi Office Manager Aziz Abubakar has stated his company is pleased to be a partner for the 2020 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.

He made the statement during the official launch of this year’s competition which is the seventh edition; the 2020 UPAC commences on March 7 at the Pope John Senior High School in Koforidua with Zone One games taking place.

All Nations University College, Koforidua Technical University, Wisconsin International University College and Radford University College will battle for the zone’s sole qualification ticket to the national championship.

“We are very much pleased to be a partner of this event since our inception in Ghana in 2017…its really a pleasure to partner with Rite Sports to have this event” he said.

Abubakar won the 2016 and 2017 UPAC titles with UG; UG has won two more titles to become the most successful team in the competition’s history.

The 2020 UPAC is sponsored by MTN, Decathlon and CAL Bank.
