Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is likely to compete for Panathinaikos in the Greek super clash against Olympiakos in the EuroLeague Basketball Championship.

The upcoming game takes place on Tuesday, March 3 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus-the home venue for Olympiacos.

In the build up to the game, Bentil and starting Center Giorgios Papagiannis did not play in Panathinaikos latest league game on Saturday, February 29.

Panathinaikos beat Larisa 121-78 to maintain its lead in the Greek League with 17 wins and two losses ahead of AEK Athens who have 15 wins and four losses.

Bentil has been prominently featured in the continental championship (EuroLeague) for Panathinaikos and recently drew praise from Coach Rick Pitino for his effort.

He started four straight games prior to his minor role in the 78-96 loss to Real Madrid in its last run out in Europe. Bentil is the first Ghana born player to play in the world’s biggest basketball competitions;  the NBA and EuroLeague.
