Spintex Knights Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Kontor Appiah is confident his team will force a Game 3 in the Tema Community Basketball League Finals.
He made this statement in an interview with Basketballghana.com ahead of Game 2 tonight against Nungua Coldstore at the Tema Community 4 Court.
The game tips off at 18:00 GMT and a win for Nungua wraps up the season and a second title in a row for Coldstore; Nungua beat Knights 70-67 in Game One despite the stand out effort from Appiah.
Despite coming away from the game with a close loss, Appiah has belief his team will rally to beat Coldstore tonight and force a third game in the series.
“For one, it is actually not disappointing, its unfortunate we lost. For Game 2 we are coming to control what we can and give all the people who come to watch a Game 3” he said.
Appiah won the 2018 League title with Coldstore before switching to Knights prior to the start of the season.
