Basketballghana.com can confirm the conference rosters for the Basketball Africa League (BAL) have been released with the competition set to commence next month.
The competition has drawn 12 teams into two Conferences; the Nile Conference and Savannah Conference.
Competition in the Nile Conference tips off on March 20 in Monastir, Tunisia while competition in the Savannah Conference tips off on March 13 in Dakar, Senegal.
The Nile Conference has Nigeria’s Rivers Hoopers, Zamalek from Egypt, US Monastir from Tunisia, Ferroviario do Maputo from Mozambique, FAP from Cameroon and Patriots Basketball Club from Rwanda competing.
The Savannah Conference has GNBC from Madagascar, AS Douanes from Senegal, AS Sale from Morocco, GS Petroilers from Algeria, Petro de Luanda from Angola and AS Police from Mali competing.
Regular Season games are to be played across six cities on the continent with playoff games to be held in Rwanda’s Kigali Arena.
Hoopers will play five games in the Nile Conference in Tunisia, Egypt and Lagos in an all play all format.
