Joel Mensah (35) celebrates on the bench

Two Ghanaian players are on the roster of the best group in San Diego State University Men’s Basketball history thanks to the team’s flawless run in the ongoing US College Basketball season.

Nathan Mensah and Joel Mensah-both Forward/Centers-are part of the Aztecs Roster that is yet to lose a game in 25 outings this season.

The 25 win mark makes them the only unbeaten team in College Basketball in the US; the 2010 group led by Los Angeles Clippers Forward Kawhi Leonard that won 20 games on the bounce.

Despite the achievement, both players have missed out on minutes due to injury; Nathan has missed over 15 games due to a respiratory problem while Joel has battled back spasms for majority of the season.

San Diego plays Boise State University next on Sunday, February 16 and has the chance to extend its record to 26 wins; the matchup against Boise is the first of four games to conclude the regular season in the Mountain West Conference.
