Coldstore Captain Kwame Djan promised a win in Game 2.

Nungua Coldstore Basketball Club Captain Kwame Boamah Djan has fingered a “loss in composure” as the reason behind his team’s loss in the Tema Community Basketball League Playoffs.

Coldstore lost 42-46 to Tema Rockets in Game One of the Playoffs Semifinals at the Tema Community 4 Court this past weekend.

The loss is Coldstore’s second in 24 games played this season including the regular season; Coldstore are defending league champions.

Speaking to Basketballghana.com exclusively, the two time Tema League Defensive Player of the Year Award winner stated:

“We lost our composure shots were going off I think those were the little things that happened that we couldn’t make it”

Game 2 is on Sunday, January 26 at the same venue with Coldstore needing a win to extend the series to Game 3. Game 2 was played with a high physical intensity that had both teams commit a lot of fouls and the tie had to be stopped on several occasions.

Tema Rockets is a win away from its first ever Tema League Finals appearance.
