University of Professional Studies (UPSA) produced a valiant effort to fight back and clinch a 58-49 win over University of Health and Allied Science (UHAS) in the ongoing 2020 Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games Men’s Division Basketball at the University of Ghana (UG).

UPSA trailed 4-13 at the end of the first quarter and 18-24 at half time as Guard Kpodo led a strong run to tie the game at 18. However, UHAS Guard Bismark Gordr scored four points in a 6-0 run to give UHAS a strong finish to the half.

A flurry of turnovers on fast break opportunities cost UHAS as UPSA punished them for gifting away possession with a hard fought win. The game ends both teams campaign in the biannual competition.

There was little effort needed by University of Development Studies (UDS) to beat Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

UDS ended its run in the tournament with a 120-42 hammering of GIMPA with the latter scoring 20 points in the second half after trailing 22-64 in the first half.

University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) did well to hold off surging University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) side and secure a 46-40 win.
